This site is dedicated to the memory of James Cook.

James's (Jimmy) family and friends have set up this Snowdrop Memorial Fund in his memory.

Jimmy was diagnosed in April 2006 with mesothelioma. Jimmy enjoyed life to the full with his wife Beverley and only daughter Leah, now aged 13 years old. He was a proud man who worked hard to make his family happy. Jimmy loved sport, horse racing, golf, cricket, darts, athletics and boxing, he was a loyal Sunderland supporter. Sadly Jimmy died on the 19 January 2012 aged just 43 years.

Donations made through the James Cook Snowdrop Fund will benefit the work of the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund (MKMRF).
